Care of the body
Five generations of Colliers have been caring for the bodies of the deceased. We use the highest quality materials and techniques, and have an on-site refrigeration facility to assist short-term preservation. We welcome input and references as to how your loved one should appear. You will decide their mode of dress.
As part of our commitment to the care of the deceased, we offer and recommend embalming. This technique ensures the preservation of the body, a natural appearance, and prevents the spread of infection to the living. This service is carried out to the highest possible standard in our specially equipped, in-house facility.
If you object to embalming, please let us know. We understand that some people prefer more environmentally friendly alternatives, which is why we also offer eco funerals.
